The best summer ever featuring the best everything. The best friends I’ve ever had, best (and only) movie I’ve gotten to direct, best musical I’ve ever done, best Michigans adventure trips, best beach hangouts, and best bros. The most genuine and heartfelt thanks to all of you who made this summer stinkin amazing.

Well, this is a little late, whoops, but Newsies kicked my butt, gave me lots of new friends, and was an absolute delight to be part of. “NEWSIES FOREVERR, SECOND TO NONEEE”

Newsies eternally changed my life. Thank you to everyone who made this show such an awesome experience, @mikeywinslow for taking a chance on casting me and catching me up, @rhondalehan for putting up with all of my conflicts, @colin.vansoest for putting up with my bullying and driving rants, @starshawnc and @csavara902 who always made Woodside and life such a blast, @itsxjade07 for inviting me to the first of many 16-25 functions, @luke.riza for helping me with the dance and inspiring me to keep going with theatre, @morganmars06 for being so awesome, and the rest of the amazing cast whom I love so much but am rapidly running out of space to mention. I am so grateful that I got to be a part of this show-
“And…proud to be a part of YOUR revolution!”

JULY DUMP!!!! Frickin stellar month. I love all my people so so much. I’m always late to these lol (also ignore the fact that Michigans Adventure technically happened in August)

Special shoutouts to @eatingpebblesss @lanekeller1 and @jackson_espy for helping the plans get out of the group chat, the stellar newsies cast (I can’t possibly tag them all), my awesome friends @csavara902 and @morganmars06 who are my fellow youngins from the 16-21 group, and my amazing friends @sylusclarence @bigaiden96 and @starshawnc who helped me stay jolly and well mentally through all of my things.

This show, and every human involved now holds a special place in my heart. Thank you to @mikeywinslow ‘s incredible direction, and the phenomenal production team for all their hard work and leadership. It has been a privilege, and an honor to share the stage with this cast and crew. I found my Newsie summer to be incredibly healing! 🫀🫀🫀

What a Journey this has been.

This show has meant so much to me. I’ve made friendships, unforgettable memories, and grown so much throughout this process. Looking back, I wouldn’t change a thing. Every rehearsal, every challenge, every laugh back and onstage, every standing ovation… it was all worth it.

Newsies is a story about fighting for what’s right, finding your voice, standing together and proving that even the smallest people can make a difference. I truly believe we told that story every night.

From the tears to the smiles, from the audiences laughter to their gasps, every performance reminded me why I love theatre so so so so much.

Thank you to everyone who made this production what it was. Our cast, crew, orchestra, creative team, and everyone who came to support us. You all made this experience unforgettable.

Once a Newsie, always a Newsie.

Newsies, Circle Theatre, 2026...

What an absolutely spectacular show to be a part of. Being able to tell this story every night has been among the greatest joys in my life. It's a story of standing up against those who take advantage of you. Those in power who care only about the bottom line and the next dollar coming in. It's about justice, love, and most of all, humanity. Thank you to @mikeywinslow once again for your expert direction and choreography. You are absolutely spectacular and I wouldn't be where I am today without you. Thank you to @brendanvincent and @timelordvictory for your phenomenal musical direction. Thank you to @rhondalehan for your work as SM and for your amazing joyful energy. Finally, thank you to the extremely talented cast. Not only did you fill the stage with passion and talent, but you created a strong community bond that will stick with me for the rest of my life.

It is with a heavy, and very full heart that I say ‘see you later’ to Newsies. Words aren’t adequate enough to describe how thankful I am for this show. I’ve never been apart of such a talented, generous group of people, and I’m so grateful for everything I’ve learned. Not only this, but the friendships I’ve built are sure to last a lifetime, and they came at a time where I needed them most. Thank yous are in order!

Thank you to @mikeywinslow for trusting me with your vision, and reminding me what I’m capable of; to @1em.ambs for sparking my love for tap; to @brendanvincent and @timelordvictory for musically leading us with heart and laughter; and to the rest of our wonderful production team for giving life to this show.

To @owensquiresmith - I didn’t know the extent to which ‘found family’ could be realized until I met you. Thank you for your guidance, humor, and love—forever my big brother.
To @csavara902 - my bunkmate in every lifetime. Thank you for being my shoulder, my rock, the Mac to my Charlie, the Carmy to my Syd. I love you so big.
To @itsxjade07 , @starshawnc , @sethecool , @luke.riza , @colin.vansoest , and @gabimora_17 - thank you for finally giving me a place to belong. I could not be more thankful for the laughs we’ve shared, the dinners, and the amount of ChiveTV we’ve consumed in the last couple months.
And to the rest of my cast - you are my favorite people. Thank you for lifting me up when I was low and showing me what growth can occur when surrounded by the right people.

The Lord’s heart resides in this production. His presence filled that space every night and the love within this cast has grown my faith immensely. For His glory and His alone!
