THIS IS WHAT ACTION LOOKS LIKE. 🇦🇺

We checked in with @griffknowless today.

At just 19 years old, Griff is in the middle of Australia attempting an almost 4,000km run from Cottesloe Beach to Bondi Beach — around 60km a day.

But the record isn’t why we’re sharing this.

Griff has experienced his own mental health battles. He’s lost a childhood friend. And instead of staying silent, he’s decided to do something extraordinary with that pain.

He’s running for the men who are struggling.

For the mates we wish we’d checked on.

For the conversations that never happened.

And for the lives we still have the opportunity to save.

Along the way, Griff is raising awareness and funds for @talk2mebro_au , an organisation doing incredible work in suicide prevention, creating connection and helping men have conversations that can genuinely change lives.

At ONE LESS, we don’t believe this space should be about competition between organisations.

If you’re saving lives, we’re on your team.

Griff — keep putting one foot in front of the other.

Jack and the @talk2mebro_au team — we’re behind you.

Australia needs more of this.

One less man lost.
One more conversation.
One more reason to keep going.

ONE LESS | One life. Every day.

Men’s mental health doesn’t need another gender war. Supporting men doesn’t mean diminishing women, and accountability and compassion can exist in the same conversation.

ONE LESS is about reaching men earlier. Creating connection. Making it easier to talk. And finding real solutions before silence becomes irreversible.

No blame. No division. Just a genuine commitment to one less life lost.

Different conversations. A healthier tomorrow.

ONE LESS.
Men talking to men.
Less stigma. Less silence. More solutions. ❤️‍🩹

I don’t think I have ever said it before but I really want to take this moment to thank all of the men in Aydens life that he considers the guys he’ll call when he can’t call his parents.
The men he looks up to, the ones who take the time out of their day when they see him and say hello, ask how he is and genuinely care.
The ones we don’t see often at all but he knows their his people.
Some of them may not even know the importance a moment has etched on his mind and stayed with him.
It may be something you’ve said, something you can do or how you made him feel.

I call them his safe guys, he wouldn’t that would be lame. I think it’s so important to have grown men as role models, people they look up to.
Teens in 2021 have it pretty chaotic - so many conflicting rules, social media, the trap of having to be something they don’t want - so having these people they look too gives them a sense of normalcy and comfort.
SO THANK YOU EACH ONE OF YOU HAVE MADE YOUR MARK ON HIM. AND THATS SOMETHING I’LL FOREVER BE GRATEFUL FOR ❤️❤️
