In Queensland, more than 250 young people are detained every day at a cost of approximately $1,000 per person, per day. Even more concerning, around 80% of those released will reoffend.

The reality is that detention alone is not solving the problem.

Prevention is key.

At Lookout07, we focus on reconnecting the disconnected. Through mentoring, counselling, positive relationships, and a safe, fun environment, we help young people build resilience, find belonging, and create a better future.

When we invest in prevention, we invest in safer communities, stronger families, and brighter futures for our young people.

Every young person deserves someone who believes in them before they become another statistic. Thanks to everyone that supported us, we truly appreciate it and are blessed to have such great supporters! #youthempowerment #youth #lookout07 #youthjustice #awareness

🚨 I NEED YOUR HELP… I’M GETTING LOCKED UP! 🚨

This Friday night, I’ll be sleeping in a cage, in chains, as part of the Lookout07 Lockout.

Sounds crazy, right?

But for many young people, feeling trapped, disconnected, and heading down the wrong path is a reality.

While it costs almost $1,000 a day to keep a young person incarcerated, Lookout07 is focused on something different, connection, early intervention, mentoring, counselling, and giving young people a safe place to belong before they reach that point.

To earn my freedom, I need to raise $5,000 in bail money.

Every dollar raised goes directly towards supporting local young people through Lookout07.

If you’d like to help bail me out, the donation link is in the comments.

Together, we can help keep young people connected, supported, and out of the system.

Link is bio to Contribute..

❤️ Be kind, it’s free.

Today we handed over more than just a house, we handed over a home. 💙

A place where two little humans will grow up, memories will be made, and everyday moments will become part of their family story. These clients were an absolute dream, and it’s been a privilege to bring their vision to life.

Wishing this beautiful family endless love and laughter in their new home 🏡✨
