A little bit bold, a little bit industrial, and very Newtown. 🧡🖤

I had a lot of fun bringing this complete unit renovation to life for a wonderfully eccentric client who wasn’t afraid of colour or doing things a little differently - the perfect fit for one of Sydney’s most vibrant Inner West neighbourhoods.

We stripped back layers of plaster and paint to expose the original concrete beams, uncovered and polished the concrete floors, introduced new lighting throughout and completely reimagined both the kitchen and bathroom.

The old kitchen was extremely impractical, with very little usable storage. The new design transformed the space with smarter cabinetry, functionality and a bold orange palette that gives it plenty of personality.

In the bathroom, an oversized laundry was converted into a compact European laundry, allowing us to create a much larger shower opening. During the works, we also discovered an unused wall cavity, which we turned into valuable additional storage.

And one of our favourite wins… Air conditioning. The client had previously been told it simply wasn’t possible. With some creative problem-solving, and a little help navigating the strata approval process, we made it happen.

A renovation that proves practical doesn’t have to mean predictable. #beforeandafter #unitrenovation #innerwestrenovation #colourfulinteriors #industrialinterior
