I want to take some time to thank my family, friends and loved ones for making my birthday truly special. I had such a great time spending it with you all either before or on my birthday and I’m so thankful to have extraordinary people that really love and care about me.

Then on top of all of that, to be wished a happy birthday from many of you was so heart warming to me because my biggest goal is to leave a positive influence on others that create an uplifting and supportive environment for all! Thank you to each and every one of you for taking the time to think of me and for sending me good wishes!

But I also need to mention that I share this birthday with someone incredible. I am truly fortunate to have an amazing brother who also deeply cares and finds the strangest ways of making me laugh, haha! A big happy birthday to my brother @lukegelfman, I’m sorry I didn’t say it enough yesterday since we were both apart/busy with our own agendas, but I’m so thankful to have you as one of my brothers.

I truly learned so much from you and grew to be someone who continues to learn, grow, and inspire thanks to your help. I love you man and I hope you had an incredible birthday as well!

Thank you again to everyone, as I grow older I learn what really matters most in life as Quincy Jones once stated is, “a whole lot of love to share, health to spare and friends/family who care.”

2024 was such an incredible year for me where so many different special memories occurred that made it truly incredible!

2024 was also the year that I saw extended family and developed a deeper appreciation for those moments in life that become increasingly special. Unfortunately as we get older we have more responsibilities because we get closer to leaving our impact on the world. So to have opportunities where I can be with my family is something I’ll appreciate always.

And finally 2024 was the year that I spent time with close friends who truly mean so much to me and who I consider to be my extended brothers. You guys have made me stronger, wiser, and more inspired to reach my goals and I couldn’t have done it without you.

So a huge thank you to 2024 for being such a special year and for making me a wiser, stronger and more loving of a person.

If I walked away learning anything from this year, it’s to know that there is always a way to make the most out of your life. To have the knowledge, strength, and wisdom to achieve that inspires me to create to help give those things to others. So I’m excited to see what 2025 will bring!

Happy New Years everyone!

The artwork that I used for most of my musical projects was done by my brother who had studied for many years to become a professional artist.

His work was something I always appreciated because when we were younger, he would spend countless hours at his desk working with miniature models and other resources as a way to help ensure his details were accurate.

To this day he continues to draw and I’m so proud of him, thank you @lukegelfman for always being kind to help me with my own projects and let’s both keep on creating

Dear friends, literally so much shit happened this Spring/Summer.

I made new friends I already adore, I shared another amazing birthday with my pseudo b-day twin where we both officially accomplished a quarter century on this earth, and I got to see so many friends and family I have missed dearly.

Friendships have shifted and changed, I’ve lost and gained so much, I’ve made some huge life changes, and I am anticipating the next few that are coming.

This Spring and Summer was a lot of learning about myself and discovering some of my own agency I hadn’t felt before. Discovering some hard truths about myself and what I didn’t know and trying my best to learn from them, making steps to improve and to learn to let myself be happy.

If you got this far into the caption kudos to you. Thank you for sticking around with me for however long you have and I hope you continue to be a part of my life.
Xoxo Sydney

Wow.....nowhere in the handbook do they tell you that the semester you teach from quarantine over zoom during the bleakness of a global pandemic will in many ways be the most joyful and rewarding. Thank you Parsons Core4D Animation 2020 section A for taking these strange lemons and making delicious lemonade. This bouquet is for you 💐
