Next Sunday, November 1, our friend Luke Haverty runs the NYC Marathon for our kids — nearly 500 children in Zimbabwe and Zambia who get a daily meal, their own primary schools, healthcare, and sports through Let's Give Them Hope.

Luke visited earlier this year and saw it all firsthand. Now he's running 26.2 miles so it keeps going.

IT’S OUT!!

I made a film about my journey to winning a Kolder Creative competition and the reward that came from all the hard work.

It’s also a digital thank-you note to Sam Kolder for helping me discover my passion.

I always felt pretty lost until I realized I could travel the world by creating content.

Through that process, I fell in love with cinematography, and I haven’t looked back since.

KC has been such a huge part of my journey. Not only have I learned a ton from it, but I’ve also met some of my favorite people through this community.

The competitions have really pushed me to become a better filmmaker.

I was so nervous when the results were coming out!! Was such a relief to get first

I recorded this audio on my phone the first time I spoke at a Kolder Creative meetup in 2023. I thought that eventually I could use it when I won a Kolder Creative competition.

Mindset was everything for me in achieving this goal. I told myself I was going to win no matter what before I even started making Pressure.

If you’re going to do something, fully dive into it. I put everything I had into the month I was given to make Pressure, and it ended up paying off.

Running for Hope! 🏃

Our friend Luke Haverty is running the NYC Marathon on November 1 — for our kids.

Luke visited Let's Give Them Hope earlier this year and spent time with the children, their teachers, and the community. He even made a short film from his trip.

Hey hey- it feels like I haven’t created something for myself in so long… I’m excited to release a long form video from a series I’ve created called Existential Adventure this Friday.

I really wanted to get this done 10 months ago, but life had other plans for me. I really have been focusing on client work and I started to really miss creating freely. It really got to me and I had to make a lot of sacrifices to get the ball rolling again. I’ve learned so much about myself through this process and I plan on concentrating more time towards this series in the future.

I couldn’t have asked for a better episode 1 with the legend @samkolder back when we shot with @ferrari last November. If you remember- I got this opportunity from winning a My Year competition with @koldercreative

Sam has been a huge inspiration of mine and I can’t wait to tell you all this story of how I got there. It’s been too long -More to come on Friday 😈

The creative industry is smaller than it looks and every room you’ve ever been in is still talking.

Ask most creatives to show you their reputation and most will send you in the direction of their portfolio, case studies and client testimonials. That’s the default setting, the work that’s visible and attributable and can be demonstrated as evidence of what they’re capable of.

That version of reputation matters.

a camp mondays story.

a few months ago I left my job in search of the next adventure. applied for one job. detached from it completely. then got a call from an Australian number asking if I wanted to plan something called camp mondays.

all I thought was.. hell yeah.

since then it’s been every day, conceptualising, dreaming, chasing the thing that makes people feel like kids again.

from lighting the manor house red white and blue. to ordering 40ft waterslides. to branded tennis balls. to planting trees. to golden tickets. to fortune cookies with team quotes tucked inside. my mind hasn’t stopped and I still can’t believe I was trusted to bring it to life.

it’s been a dream making it real with the most incredible team. everything that happened behind the scenes. the hosts who brought the energy. designs that had been cooking for months. the concepts, the connection activities, the magic we all built together.

most importantly… what Jai, Evan & @theartofmondays have created, and what they let me be part of, is just beautiful.

planning something for people this open, this present, this willing to be fully in it, that was the real gift.

the part that meant the most to me personally, was bringing in my mum. her ideas, her magic. everything she gave me growing up inspired the little touches, and I had the chance to pass some of that magic on to a community that is this special.

and ofc the final dinner with @asupperseries is a moment I’ll keep in my heart for a long time.

the world gives us a lot of reasons to forget how to play. camp mondays was 100 people remembering how, all at once.

can’t wait for what the future holds. spreading whatever this feeling is, wider. 🫶🏼

this is just the start.🌻🤍☀️✨
