Happy 2nd birthday Posi-Train Productions! 🥳

7 shorts, 2 episodic, 2 commercials, and 2 features. Swipe to see some highlights of some great stories I’ve been able to help tell. I’m so thankful for all of the wonderful actors and filmmakers I’ve been able to collaborate with so far!

If you had told little me who loved writing Disney Channel episodes and performing for her loved ones that eventually she would get enough knowledge and experience and confidence as a filmmaker and an actor to start her own casting agency, she wouldn’t have believed it.

I’ve been doing a lot of reflecting today on this LLC of mine. Looking back, Posi-Train really was a bright light for me after a season of major change, grief, insecurity and negative thinking. It was my own personal slap in the face in a way. A slap that allowed me the space to reset and build, and trust in my own abilities and passions. It got me back on track and has brought me so much joy ever since!

Filled with gratitude and excited for what’s next. Cheers to 2 years 🥂🥹

Some pics of me in various stages of stress, the people who made it happen, the perfect cookout order, and the face @lukeingcreative makes when I tell him we’re running behind.

Special shoutouts to @frankjrehak for always finding my light, @nagcomedy @tha_prxnce for risking their lives to ensure I was fed, my rocks @mackensiemcd @parul25397, and obviously @lukeingcreative for making a fun as hell movie and letting me be a part of it.

Keep an eye out for Xero Agency 👀

Had the greatest time filming with the most amazingly talented and beautiful cast and crew of “XERO AGENCY”! They are truly the meaning behind family. Written and Directed by @lukeingcreative, the creative genius behind this and I am so beyond blessed that he gave me such a greatest opportunity to be part of this film. Thank you all so much! Even though I was only on set for two days, I felt like I have known you all forever. Love and Miss you guys and look forward to working with you again. #xeroagency #SitDownPoBre

I don’t know that I can quite put into words the amount of healing I did on this film set….i don’t think I have ever in my entire career experienced synergy in the way I did with these incredible humans. Sometimes you do films that you’re praying to not just God, but also Lilith, the random Buddha statue in the gas station, and the man on the street that says he’s Jesus…for the filming TO END…this set was not like that. The amount of tears I cried saying goodbye to this cast and crew could have kept the botanical gardens going for an extra month.

@lukeingcreative somehow got together an ensemble to rival Oceans 11 and there wasn’t a bad apple in the bunch…THAT is great casting. I knew I wanted to work with Luke the first few moments I talked to him in my callback. A human that just radiates creativity and light ✨

The precedence was set from the very first welcome email sent out by our incredible producers Emily Quezada and @phi_poet and they continued this throughout all of production. We could not have pulled this off without your talents and smiles to guide us.

I could spend a week talking about the immense talent in this cast and crew, but at the end of the day, a lot of people are talented. It takes a special person to not only be talented but also be kind. And these people were the kindest. I truly feel like I have made some lifelong friends, and we are all counting down the days until we can all be in the same room together again watching the chaos we created together that is ‘Xero Agency.’

There’s a lot more I want to say, but I will leave you will this lovely reel of moments. As I will share photos as well in a few days🖤

Xero Agency ❤️🖤🎬 20 photos isn’t enough!!

I started casting for this project back in November, and it’s been a wild ride from the first meet & greet on Zoom with @lukeingcreative and @phi_poet & Emily (our set mom haha.) It was a wacky team to start, and as I read the INSANE script I realized just how wacky my next few months would be.

Xero Agency is a hilariously dark world created by writer/director/producer/actor Luke Pereira, and being able to help him find the best actors for these characters that would help build this world was a dream. These fantastic, talented actors - my baby birdies - brought so much joy, comedy, love, and magic to their roles, and the way they became a family so quickly meant everything. For them to feel comfortable to create and have fun is what I strive for in every project I cast.

And that comfort, that safe place to have fun and just play isn’t possible without the efforts of our insanely talented, knowledgeable, and hard-working crew, who also all just happened to be genuinely kind people who cared so much about the story being told, even on the hard days. It truly takes a village and we had a great one. 2 weeks in Charlotte creating something special.

So very proud to be a part of the Xero family, and this being my first official feature as a casting director makes it even more special 🥹 thank you to EVERYONE for their time, talent, patience, teamwork and good energy! Thank you Cornell & Luke for the opportunity. Wow wow wow, we did it! Xero gang forever 🙅🏻‍♀️
