We loved having members of @utexasdrums of the one and only @longhornband perform for the students of the Texas School for the Blind & Visually Impaired this past Wednesday to get them hyped to sign up for the TSBVI Wildcat Drumline and our inaugural drumline camp! Thanks for literally helping us start the year off with a bang 🥁🤩💥!!! The students are so inspired and hyped!

Thanks @1kclark__ and @lukej979 for the demo during our inaugural drumline session at the Texas School for the Blind and Visually Impaired. 🔥in spite of the quad stand issue 😅 (I couldn’t find the pliers).

We are excited to get this off the ground after a year of planning. Thanks to @ drakemelson @sophiiedevine @ivan.drums the @carolinacrown store @1kclark__ and @lukej979 for the integral contributions. My favorite part of this endeavor (and my job as the residential music teacher in general) is the community collaboration. I love how individuals and organizations have come together to give our students a transformative opportunity. Drumline was a big part of my path and am thrilled for our students to experience it.

This is more than a drumline 💓🥁⚡️
