Some of the goods from my Alpine season and a new season of life with my favorite person.

Started exploring Wild Basin a bit this season I’m between getting to Blue sky as much as possible. I did Tetris last go of the day on my first session in Mid April.
Stoked to get on more of the hard mega classics.

Learning all of the good and bad of the best job I’ve ever had. SO stoked to be working with such an awesome crew!

Still king lines to come back for.

Death Trout was the last hard boulder I was able to put down this season. With some new beta I found I think it sits more in the 12/13 range.

Death Trout 🎣 V12
I managed to finish this one off at the beginning of August. On the session I ended up sending, I hiked down to Lincoln by myself, did a short warm-up, and proceeded to fall on the last move 5 times in a row from the start. It was getting late, I was starting to get frustrated, and I knew that I probably only had 2 tries left. I decided to go for a short walk to clear my head.
I came back more focused and fired it off on my 6th try of the day.
I had a great time climbing on this boulder with friends, and that final solo session taught me a lot about mindset, patience, and execution.
As for the grade, @keenan_panda came up with an alternate beta that ended up suiting me really well and made the crux quite a bit easier. Because of this I think solid V12 makes more sense.
