Bogu niech będzie chwała!

The past two weeks that I spent in Poland have been some of the best weeks of my life. God is moving in such amazing ways and it was a blessing to get to witness His glory. In every friendship God displayed His love and care to me. I will never forget the wonderful people I met, and am so thankful for the new relationships I now have. To see people yearning to be with God, even when community is lacking, has impacted me so deeply. It has reminded me Jesus is our strength when we are weak and our comfort when we are alone. God is so good!

“But God being rich in mercy, because of the great love with which he loved us, even when we were dead in our trespasses made us alive together with Christ by grace you have been saved…“

The @tarheel10miler DOUBLE DOWN CHALLENGE ✅

This race meant a lot to me. I’ve been wanting to run more for the last several years, but it hasn’t always been easy. It’s taken multiple years of physical therapy just to run more than a mile without pain in my ankles. Once they could finally handle it, I was knocked out even longer because of an eating disorder that made it unsafe for me to run at all. For the first time in so long, I am healthy in both of those areas, and I thank God so much for it. Never did I think I’d be able to run five miles, let alone more than a half marathon. Ending up in the hospital overnight with heat stroke was not part of the plan, but praise God that I’m feeling much better now. Grateful that I finished!
