From creating it to dancing it on stages across the country! I am still pinching myself. 🥹✨

I am eternally grateful to Luke, Snaps, Sean, and the entire @empireofthesunsound team for trusting me with a piece of their incredible world. What made this experience even more special was the safe, collaborative environment they created, where ideas were welcomed, creativity was encouraged, and we had the freedom to explore. Watching those ideas turn into fully realized moments onstage has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my career.

A special shoutout to @charlottebannell & @lulani.rawson , who were in the room when so much of this first came to life for the Europe leg. I couldn’t have asked for two better dancers to build this choreography on. Your talent, patience, and willingness to dive into the unknown with me meant more than you know.

And to my North American fellow masked crusader @kenidee_allen you legend! From the endless changes to the constant evolution of the show, you rolled with every punch and embraced every new idea without hesitation. You made the process so much fun, and I couldn’t have asked for a better person by my side.

One of my biggest takeaways from this experience is that I need to trust myself more and stop second guessing whether I’m capable of the things I’ve spent so many years working toward.

Here’s to continuing this creative journey, taking up space, and saying yes to the things that scare me a little. 🤍

Avec « Alive », mon titre préféré d’Empire of the Sun. 💙

You weren’t sad, you just needed to see empire of the sun live. ✨🪐

Sometimes life gets overwhelming, and you forget what it feels like to be completely present in a moment. then suddenly, you’re surrounded by music, lights, thousands of people singing along, and a feeling you can’t quite explain. for a little while, nothing else matters. the stress fades away, your mind gets quiet, and everything just feels right again.

There’s something special about live music that reminds you how beautiful life can be. some nights become core memories, some songs hit differently when you hear them live, and some experiences remind you why you fell in love with music in the first place. 🌌💫

Maybe we don’t always need to have everything figured out. sometimes we just need to live a little, feel a little more, and let the music take us somewhere else for a while.
thank you, empire of the sun, for a night that felt like a dream. ❤

Afterlife tour is a wrap (& my 41st birthday)! 7 shows, 5 states, 11,000+ miles traveled, endless laughter, countless memories. Thank you to everyone who worked on the tour to create such an incredible experience that is truly unmatched by any other artists. When I tell people that seeing an Empire show is a life changing experience, the reaction is always skepticism until they experience it too, and then they say “I get it now.” It’s more than just amazing music; the stunning costumes, mesmerizing videos, iconic set pieces, and truly soulful performances by every person on stage showcase the passion and vision of Luke Steele who is an artist truly in a class of his own. We are so blessed to be able to experience this show and so, so grateful.

None of this would be nearly as enjoyable or meaningful without my partner in everything by my side every step of the way. I’m so unbelievably lucky to have married someone who enjoys my incessant singing and impromptu dance parties, is down to go on crazy adventures across the country, and shares a passion for the same music that plays in my soul constantly, and he is lucky that he looks good wearing my pink lipstick too 😜😘 I love being beside you, I’ll be around, we’ve got the best years ahead we know we do, and we celebrate our love… baaayybe!
