Roundtable #17 gets it done ‼️

A few weeks back I was in D.C. as a collegiate facilitator working with SAMHSA (Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration) and U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. I got the opportunity to lead 13 AMAZING youth from across the country, military, and territories to make a difference talking about youth substance abuse and programs needed to be put into action. These youth could not have made my experience any better. Not to mention, I got to work with other collegiate facilitator whom I’ve met at countless other 4-H Conferences! Always a blast with 4-H I tell ya!

National 4-H Conference 2025 🍀

This last week I was given the opportunity to represent Alabama 4-H at National 4-H Conference. This experience was one of a kind. Getting to meet like minded peers from all over the U.S. and working on coming up with real world solutions was an amazing experience.

From roundtables to games of spoons it seems like we did everything. Getting to see the history and beauty of DC was such an AMAZING experience. I am so grateful to Alabama 4-H and the Alabama 4-H foundation for always providing such amazing opportunities to the youth of our state. I made so many new friendships and connections that will stick with me for a lifetime.
