Last night was quite the bucket list moment, playing at the beautiful Hamer Hall at the @artscentremelbourne. I had to pinch myself thinking of all the amazing shows I’ve seen there over the years… What an incredible room and amazing audience that came out for @songsfromthecanyon! 🧡🥁 xx See you at the Geelong Playhouse next week 🌿

This album is an Australian Folk Music Awards finalist!!!!! The latest Monique Clare record 'Live At The Festival Of Small Halls' has made it into the top five running for Contemporary Album of the Year. Huge thanks and congrats to @smallhallsaus for producing the tour that led to this album, @lachtimus_prime for engineering and recording every show, @lukewoollett for mixing and @isaacbarter for mastering. It's pretty rare for a live album to be a finalist for an award, up against studio albums. So it means a LOT and it's not lost on me how lucky that is. I'm also thrilled to see my good friends and old band mates @themaesband in the finals with their truly incredible album Abreast. Grateful that didn't play on that album, because it means I can listen to it without being a narcissist. I'm secretly hoping they win. But would also be stoked if any of the other finalists won! @theinadequatesband, @ruth_hazleton, and @tanyaransom 🧡 This album was recorded on Kaplan cello strings from D'Addario, who are so encouraging and supportive of my work. Glad to be a @daddarioorchestral artist! Thank you @folkallianceaustralia for this huge honour!

I can’t believe only 2 shows left with @felipebaldomir before I drive back home (only 41hrs this time, not 46, so should be sweet) It’s been absolutely magnificent (maybe a few too many brekky burgers) with the crew and everyone coming out to watch the shows! LAST 2 SHOWS MILTON - TONIGHT! WOLLONGONG - SATURDAY (Get ya tix!) See ya there!
