Our engagement party in the desert 💛

We celebrated our engagement at one of our favorite places, a restaurant and setting we’ve loved for a long time, and every part of the evening felt so intentional. We wanted our engagement party to feel warm, colorful, and inspired by the desert sunset while still feeling intimate and true to us. From the location itself to the pops of color and the people we chose to celebrate with, it was a night that felt deeply personal from beginning to end.

There is something so special about an intimate desert celebration in Joshua Tree, especially in a place that already holds meaning. Nights like this are such a beautiful reminder of why I love photographing wedding weekends, engagement parties, and celebrations that feel thoughtful, personal, and full of heart.

So grateful to the talented vendors who helped bring it all to life and make the evening so special.

Julia and Jordan’s wedding day felt exactly like them: effortless, joyful, fun, and full of love. Easily one of my favorite weddings I’ve captured so far this year.

One of the best parts of this role is girling with the girls on the morning of the wedding. Julia and her gals were such a sweet group and will forever hold a special place in my heart🤍
