POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

This will be the first of multiple August 2026 posts 😂 I managed to pack in over 50 Fringe shows, Book Festival events and International Festival shows, several visits from friends and just generally lovely times ❤️

All starting with Grandma's birthday 🥰

Hess's birthday picnic 🧺

First show of the Fringe 💋 Smut, at Assembly Roxy

🌺🌹🏵️🌷🌼

Show 2 - Join The Club - so nice to meet Kate, and wonderful to see something else worked on by Kelly ✨

Aimee came for a weekend visit 🥰🍫 ☕

Show 3 - Bliss - a really colourful new musical 👑🌈

Show 4 - Big Stuff - one of my favourite shows of this year. It keeps resurfacing in my brain, even months later. So fun to see the work of this dynamic duo 🚒 🔥📦

❤️❤️❤️

Show 5 - Sammy J: Hero Complex - the STORYTELLING, the EVIDENCE?!??

Show 6 - The Stevenson Experience - the end of a hilarious evening with Kelsey ✨

🥰how lucky I am to have friends like these

🌷🏵️🌹🌺👐

BAKERY TRIP

Show 7 - Muse - a fun new musical about Shakespeare and some of his central characters

Show 8 - @ Jenna - another FAVOURITE show of this year. This story feels so real to me, as a little gay girl who had big crushes (although I don't have childhood diary proof) 🌈❤️

Show 9 - DUSK/NIGHT/DAWN - absolutely breathtaking. Graceful and powerful and beautiful 🎈

Show 10 - Disenchanted - another favourite for this year (yes, I have a lot, I'm indecisive and fall in love easily) SO funny, beautifully performed, and finally confirmed what we've all known. Belle was sent insane by the Beast and the talking furniture, Snow White looks incredible in red boots, and Mulan is a lesbian.

Show 11 - A Brief History of Musical Theatre - as a longtime admirer of musicals, this was a wonderful way to spend an evening ✨

Show 12 - 2 Queers In Tears - ANOTHER (yes I know) favourite of this year. A beautiful story of queer friendship, love, becoming and growing of self 💛🩷

It’s crazy to think that only now we can sit down and look back on how incredible that sweaty sold out night at @alphabetbrighton was 🫧

Thanks @lumi_thehost for perfectly capturing the deliciously delirious delirium that our tunes took hold on everyone!!

✨This year so far has been pretty wild for The VVs. So many beautiful memories but our night at ALPHABET was one for the books!

We know this to be true as so many of you have reminded us and demanded for another 😘 so firstly from the depths of our hearts we thank you so much for truly embracing our vision ❤️ seeing your beautiful faces smiling and your soulful bodies moving will forever be the highlight of ours x

These hearts maybe full but our ambitions are screaming for seconds 💋 We are bloody well gona give it to ya! Stay tuned!

Over and out,
The Virgin Vinyls xoxo

Shout out to @the_record_caddy for joining to support with her incredible tunes!

EDINBURGH FRINGE DEBUT | 2 Queers (in Tears?) 💛🩷
A fast paced, laugh-out-loud, tender comedy drama following Billy and Elliot - queer drama school students navigating identity, love, family wounds and friendship. A platonic love story about chosen family, the masks we wear to survive, and the courage it takes to finally take them off.
