We put ourselves in positions where there is danger, exhaustion, lack of sleep, fear ,and doubt, but what happens during those times brings out who you truly are.

Luminox Navy Seals Series 3180. Luminox Light Technology (LLT) debuted in 1989 when company founder Barry Cohen discovered a Swiss self-powered illumination system utilizing borosilicate glass tubes filled with tritium gas. Officially known as gaseous tritium light sources (GTLS), this technology was originally engineered by Swiss illumination specialists mb-microtec, who lined the interior of microscopic capillaries with phosphorescent powder before injecting them with radioactive tritium gas and sealing them with lasers. When beta electrons emitted by the decaying tritium strike the phosphor coating, they trigger a continuous, chemical-free glow that requires no external charge from ambient light or batteries. Recognizing its immense tactical potential, Cohen secured an exclusive partnership to integrate these micro-tubes into rugged timepieces, a breakthrough that ultimately led to a landmark 1992 collaboration with the U.S. Navy SEALs and established LLT as the industry gold standard for military-grade, 25-year constant visibility in absolute darkness.

Last weekend’s two-day training exercise provided valuable hands-on experience. Under the guidance of our NAVSOG SEAL instructor, we received instruction and practical training in various tactical and combat skills.

The training not only served as preparation for military exercises but also provided essential knowledge and skills that contribute to my development and readiness as a Navy reservist. More importantly, it strengthened our Unit’s capabilities, coordination, and effectiveness in carrying out tasks.

One of those rare opportunities to do MOUT and CQB military simulation with the team inside an abandoned hospital compound, The Quezon Institute. We really enjoyed the venue and the whole experience. Hopefully, we can come back here again! @blackwater.unit @luminox_ph
