"If it isn’t a clear yes, then it’s a clear no.”

In other words, if it didn’t Dey, then it didn’t Dey.

This is a reminder that some things in life are not meant to be forced. Spontaneity can be beautiful, and showing deep commitment to making things work can also pay off. But there’s wisdom in knowing when to step away. Walking away does not make you a quitter or a loser—it simply means you value your peace.

If it drains you, drop the mic and gracefully leave the stage. If it fuels you, then keep pushing.

Still basking in the love from my Birthday. Thank you all for the messages, calls, posts, and prayers — you made my day extra special.

My profound gratitude to everyone who supported the Birthday Outreach. Because of you, we put smiles on the faces of 300 children on the streets of Lagos.

Special thanks to my amazing project manager, @lummygrillo , and every volunteer who showed up — you made it all possible.

The Street Love Project was a success because you cared.
Let’s keep spreading love, one child at a time.

I am a big fan of good books, and it often gladdens my heart whenever I read a masterpiece from co-creators. Boomerang is a must read book for every dreamer; most especially the ones who have walked through pains to triumph. In this book you’ve picked up, be ready to cry, smile, and then laugh out loud because the true essence of how we live is encoded on every page. As you flip through the pages, you will have a rekindled zeal to dare the unknown called LIFE

Kudos to you @lummygrillo
Thank you for pouring out yourself in this masterpiece
I recommend Boomerang ✅

November Dump, make it #INKterlude 2.0 🌹

What better way to end the month than the delightful surprise of attending a Poetry/Open Mic hangout which ends up as a sorta reunion?!
Seeing old faces, meeting new ones, sharing hugs and handshakes, snapping fingers and above all, stunned by creativity weaved with words and delivered as Spoken Word pieces and musical lyrics.

Italawaaa 😂 December, shoo ya?👀🚀

Earlier today, myself and these amazing change makers visited the Ikoyi correctional center to felicitate the festive season with the inmates. I must say that it was an humbling experience for me mixed with emotions, empathy and curiosity as I couldn’t but imagine what would have led some of these people here and the state of their families as we speak… joining them for their second Sunday Service, I could only muster silent words of prayers as the wonderful voices of the choir rent the air, with hopes beeming in their faces🙁what an insightful experience which left an indelible impression with me🤲🏻Thank you to our principal, Hon Babajide Balogun for the platform and thanks to everyone who made this possible🙏🏼Indeed, freedom is truly priceless👌Indeed, we get to appreciate life, good health and freedom more when we visit The Morgue, hospitals and prisons.

🎄 Christmas on the Street 3.0: Spreading Joy, One Smile at a Time!!!!

This year, Christmas on the Street 3.0 was nothing short of magical! Together, we brought smiles to over 300 kids in Bariga, Lagos, creating unforgettable memories that remind us of the true spirit of Christmas—love, sharing, and community.

From face painting to fun games, and a free shopping spree, every moment was filled with joy, laughter, and heartfelt gratitude.

Seeing the kids’ faces light up was the greatest gift of all! ☺️

As we celebrate this season, we are reminded that together, we can make a difference. To our incredible volunteers, partner, and donors, this would not have been possible without you. Thank you for being part of this journey and for making Christmas special for these children.

Merry Christmas from all of us at @thebafoundation_ ! 🎄✨
