Second recording from DUB.SEPT, Vol. 1, which took place on 19.09.26 at the @blank.platform. Armed with a mic, a tape delay, a pair of 1200s and an MPC, Selektah @lumo_arcturus provided a 30 minute lesson in #dubculture that showed old heads and new old how to properly enjoy and engage with the #roots of a #proper dubstep party. Made extra authentic by the mighty bass of the @freedom_of_assembly_sound system. Big up, selektah! #fingerguns If you missed the event or want to relive this awesome set, tune in via the link in bio or through http://mixcloud.com/darkfuturepicnicmusic. On the 19th of September, DFPM returns to bring about the DUB.SEPT!* Continuing our mission to #buildhopefromdystopia with a smaller, more intimate party focused on a single dub-adjacent genre. The premise is simple: All #dubstep. All night. 140 people. One red light. For this we've gathered a lineup of old and new school CBR legends, offering them an outlet to dig out their favourite classic dubstep tunes and melt our faces off. Supported by: @freedom_of_assembly_sound with a fresh set of drivers ready to tear the roof off. +DFPM Crew members: @imbibe_music.with.substance @lumo_arcturus @therealcspo Tickets are limited. Our first event sold out. Don't miss this chance to join your fellow lovers of #wub, #stankface, and heavy, #subfrequencybass as we come together to form the DUB.SEPT! Swipe for details. Tickets via link in bio. [ * Sept: (noun) a branch of a family, especially a clan. ]

What a beautiful afternoon in the heart of the city 🌞🥁🪅 So much joy, rhythm, dancing and community energy flowing through Civic as @raio.de.sol.band played while the piñatas exploded around us 💃 Big thanks to everyone who came down, danced, brought their families, played music, helped organise, and filled the street with life. Huge love to @dissentcafeandbar, @loschavosmusic, @funkytrop, the DJs, volunteers and everyone behind the scenes who helped make PACHANGA happen. This is what city activation can feel like — local music, cultural connection, public space filled with rhythm, and people coming together ❤️ #CanberraMusic #CityActivation #Percussion #Samba #LatinMusic
