When the skin has been stripped back, by medication, harsh products, stress or time, it needs more than hydration. It needs to be rebuilt. Our Signature Microbiome Recovery treatment works with the skin’s own living microbiome to calm inflammation, restore the barrier and rebalance the microbial environment that healthy skin depends on. A specialized lymphatic massage encourages gentle drainage and presses the actives deeper into the tissue. The result is skin that is not just soothed but structurally restored. Ideal For: β€’Skin that has become suddenly sensitive or reactive β€’Post-treatment recovery – after peels, lasers or strong actives β€’Anyone on or recently completing antibiotics β€’Skin that feels stripped, tight or never quite balanced β€’Those who have β€˜tried everything’ without lasting results Seasonal or environmental reactivity. β€’Barometric changes due to changes in weather Schedule your facial to restore skin for fall. Even better is being proactive prior to the huge shifts in barometric pressure. We are honored to have healed skin in a day for most with our talented esthetician and @isunskincare_official locally crafted here in Colorado. We are so honored to be working alongside experts in the field who have curated a business local to Colorado with the initiative to genuinely help your skin as it moves through its seasons. Here are some guidance questions and thoughts to ponder upon the changing of seasons. πŸ‚ Start by Listening The best place to start with your own skin isn’t a product. It’s a little bit of attention. Next time you look in the mirror and have a moment to yourself, see and feel what your skin is telling you. Is it tight? Do you see redness? Has its texture changed? Does it feel more sensitive than usual? Those are your clues. We recommend checking out our lymphatic facial with Isun featured products. @isunskincare_official What does it do? This facial is curated to help lift, contour, define and most of all detoxify and heal the body inside and out. We have noticed skin that is more dehydrated through this month and puffy with our air quality. We would be honored to guide you even with a free consult from Nikolina. Product of the day: the antioxidant sun butter, great for all skin complexions. Let us know if you need guidance on how to use this product. The key is less is more and emulsifying it with the warmth of your hands is key. Since all products are non toxic you will love treating your skin to a soothing relief of mango seed butter, incorporated with nano zinc which sits on top of tje skin instead of penetrating into the cells absorbing the harmful UVA, UVB and UVC rays. This post is inspired by @isunskincare_official and Jillian. #lymphaticfacialmassage #lymphatichealing #denverlymphaticdrainage #healingyourself #denverlymphaticdrainage

Why should you book the microbiome facial at recovery lounge and spa? If your skin has been pushed past its limits we look for the following clues. As the weather changes, it is important to be proactive in assessment and education with your practitioner. We want you to feel confident every step of the way. Have you had a chance to try the microbiome facial with us? Some common skin clues include: What you see: Flaking, shine, redness, breakouts, blackheads, uneven texture, fine lines or changes in the skin’s usual appearance. What you feel: Tightness, dryness, roughness, irritation, oiliness or discomfort. None of these clues exists in isolation and skin rarely asks for just one kind of support at a time. That’s why we created a simple framework to help make sense of them: the Five Foundations of Skin Support. Have you had the chance to try the new microbiome facial here at recovery lounge and spa? Soothing relief balm: what is it? A barrier repair high humectant (hydration) based complex that penetrates rapidly into the cells for relief from windburn, sunburn or to soothe with the allergens. It helps cell turnover and repair with ingredients that soothe, calendula and coconut seed oil, and chamomile, while packing a punch in pure hydration with medical grade humectant, beta- glucan. Less is more and it is great for a multipurpose salve; additionally, it is thinner than most lotions and butters. Come in and check out our end of summer staff favorites. What skin is it best used? All skin types but especially compromised sunburn or wind burn she or if suffering an outbreak from eczema or autoimmune disorders. Is it comedogenic? No! It is fractionated coconut seed oil. How long will one purchase last? It depends on your hydration levels, but most individuals can get away with nightly use for about 6-8 months if not more. Have you tried our soothing relief balm?

A celestial facial for a goddess divine. She needed some restorative hydration from traveling. We then decided to opt to a fascia lifting facial cupping to remove any stagnation. You can see the results of the right side done prior to touching the left. Overall result: erythema went down, the skin barrier was repaired and nourished during this dry time and higher heat, and we followed up with after care. All of her products she soaked in with a heavenly glow. We always are so honored to have prior clients come to explore our facials we have to offer. Whether you need a pick me up, or an overall decompression in line with your life, you are in great hands here. You are safe and held in a space for you to feel honored and able to express your truth. Facial cupping benefits: decrease puffiness, reduce fine line and wrinkles, promotes blood circulation, increases skincare penetration, relaxes tension, regulates the production of oil, and works alongside the facial muscles to give not only an instant lifting and firming, but with consistent use can help guide your skin on its journey through muscle lifting longterm. How often can you get facial cupping? One to three times per week. Does it cause bruising? The goal is to never bruise you as a practitioner. We take measures to go over your intake form thoroughly. Though it is possible due to a lot of stagnation, it is extremely rare. In most cases if you are prone to bruising we recommend taking arnica or bromelian but most of our clientele has had no marks left behind. How can I maintain my results? Book a 30 minute cupping in between your service or you can purchase cups to perform on yourself. Stay tuned for our classes where we go in depth about the lymphatic process and how to work in the correction motion with the pressure that is safe. How long does it last? Everyone is different but cupping results are at their peak after your service with it lasting up to several hours to 2 days. This is why we want to ensure the education portion of your care is pivotal to us. We want to be your first place to ask questions so we can help assess your treatment plan. #denverholisticskincare
