Throwback picture! Lunamuse Fiberart Spinning Demo during the Eastport Farmer’s Market down at the amphitheater overlooking the breakwater, seems like several lifes aho and a rare occasion of me abiding by the “Wear a darn sunhat in summer” rule so your face won’t fry! #throwback #lunamusefiberart #demo #spinningdemo #handspinning

We are back! There aren’t words to thank all of you who braved the storms last night for our opening reception to celebrate our 40th season. We wouldn’t be here without you all showing up year after year, supporting our little gallery and this wonderfully creative community.

Join us 11-5 Thursday through Sunday in June!

A huge thank you to @eastportartscenter and @cindy_jollotta for capturing the evening so beautifully for us.

Wearing my latest handknit sweater (whipped up while laid up over the last 2 weekends feeling quite under the weather 🤧- the pattern is called ‚Downeast‘ by fellow Maine based knitwear designer @aliciaplums and this time I made it cropped as written and LOVE it - next one will be knit with one of my handspun yarns 🙃) AND my new hairdo (thx to Jenny at Mousse Island Clipper for the trim, the layers, the curls AND the photo 💜)

This was such a nice write-up about Lunamuse Fiberart and Linda Courtney’s Knitwise Design by Lora Whelan published in the Quoddy Tides newspaper 9 (!) years ago, how time flies... I am happy to report that the shop is still there albeit back on Water Street and open for business for your holiday shopping in the temporary location inside the coffee shop while structural repairs are being made to the actual shop space - as usual give me a holler for an appointment or shop (limited inventory!) from the comfort of your home online at www.lunamusefibers.etsy.com - free shipping in the US #lunamusefiberart #knitwear #knitweardesign #handknit #handmade #oneofakind #holidayshopping #giftshop #giftideas #giftsforher #giftsforhim #knitting #weaving #crochet #wearableart #supportlocal #supporthandmade #eastport #eastportmaine #madeinmaine #madeinusa #etsyshop #freeshipping #quoddytides #localnews #localnewspaper
