Autumn is here! 🍂🛘🌑 We arrived at Hiisikallio around six in the evening, when the sun was already setting. But with headlamps, it was easy to keep the fun going. 🔦 I climbed the lovely route Kurkotus amikseen (6a+) first try after getting some useful tips from Ellu. It felt like climbing The Nose on El Capitan at night. Just me, high up in my bubble… 😆 The route offers very different kind of climbing. The first crux is a lovely overhang with fairly good holds, and the real crux comes right at the end. Clipping the anchor was a bit shaky, but definitely possible if you dare to push up on those bad footholds. When climbing in the dark, a headlamp is a must! It’s also a good idea to keep all your stuff in one place at the crag. If you spread everything out, finding your gear when it’s time to wrap up can be tricky. Another thing to keep in mind at Hiisikallio is the ground. It can get quite muddy, so it’s really good to bring a waterproof cloth or a doormat to stand on while changing into your climbing shoes. Climbing in muddy shoes is definitely not fun. I also topped Toka välitunti (5+) on my second go as a warm-up, while there was still a little daylight. I’m blessed with such nice climbing friends! ❤️🧗‍♀️ Thanks for good camerawork @lusta12

🖋🪡📷 @laura_toomsalukarro 💃 Elerin #ajakirikäsitöö #uusnumber #kudumine #heegeldamine #õmblemine #simplecraft #june #july #newmagazine #summerissue #craftmagazine #knitting #sewing #crochet #embroidery #käsitööonuusjooga #decorateonabudget #flowers #spring #crochethat
