“No matter how isolated you are and how lonely you feel, if you do your work truly and conscientiously, unknown allies will come and seek you.”⁣

Before this year, it’s been a minute since I’ve done some editorial work. I was mainly focused on my portraiture and the physique part of photography so I decided to put that on hold. But this year, I slowly got back into it and this is another editorial I shot with some lovely people.⁣
⁣
Luke, who’s been such a great guy from the first time we started talking, and eventually doing a shoot, to this most recent shoot where we had a chance to play around with some ideas on a misty, winter’s morning in cape town.⁣
⁣
The weather definitely added to the ambience of this shoot and I am glad that it stayed relatively consistent throughout the morning.⁣
⁣
Afterwards, we went to take some photos in the loft space I rented. He warmed up by the window and we ordered some food, had a good conversation and got some great images. Those, however, will only be shown next week. This post is specifically focused on the editorial. ⁣
⁣
Thanks to everyone involved and especially to Luthando, who styled the previous story as well. He’s really passionate about what he does and it’s easy to spot.

@bellomag Style brings you a story from South Africa, where style shifts with a different season. Framed by the coastline, Henry Joubert @henry_joubert and Christian Tromp @yvng.cpt for @boysofboss are captured by Louis Daniel Botha @louisdanielbotha in a study of modern tailoring, texture, and effortless ease.
