when i say living life in surrender is the key, i mean it. there is no life i could’ve created for myself that beats God’s version.

a while ago, the Lord made us a promise and confirmed it over and over again. so we knew that the only thing left to do, was trust him. we simply let him handle the timing and did not rush the process. we didn’t strive, we just moved forward in faith.

there were moments where we thought “should we go to a doctor?” or “what if something is wrong and we don’t know?” but in those moments I KNEW and held on to the fact that God would keep his promise and to just not worry about it. we knew God’s character, we knew that his plans are to prosper us, we knew that he never fails us. and that’s all we needed to understand. nothing else.

and in the most perfect and spontaneous way possible, our promise was fulfilled. our little guy is here and in our arms. best gift ever.
