The joy my heart feels when I’m with my sisters. Happy Founders’ Day to my Exquisite sands and all of my Sorors across the globe. This day is always a reminder of just how amazing it is to have the honor to wear the letters of the FIRST BLACK GREEK SORORITY. Our Founders probably doubted themselves, they probably questioned their vision over and over asking themselves “can we really do this” because it’s never been done before EVER. In 1908, NAACP wasn’t founded yet, we were just over 40 years from the Civil Rights Movement. I can’t imagine the vigor, courage, and just down right guts our beloved Founders had to possess to create an organization that is still standing strong 111 years later. To God Be the Glory! Sorors, May we always go after our #goals with the same courage our Founders possessed. Never give up and never give in. Fight for your dreams. 💚💕💚💕 •
