Things I’d only admit to another dancer

-I’m on my period. And idgaf cause neither do they.
-I haven’t shaved my legs in weeks and guess who can’t see that from the audience, idgad bc they not trippin off that
-The way I’m perpetually ashy and it’s not even my fault it’s that DAMN POLE. Occupational hazard.
-Girl I almost just tripped and ended my life, but it looked like a double step and that’s the story I’m sticking to
-That headstand almost turned into a back break but I just jumped out of it rq so people think I added it for dramatic effect
-Nets under the kini: eats (my 🐱) can someone PLSSSS invent nets with a liner???? Or send me the link. I need it. It’s so cute and cunty but so uncomfy that’s the antithesis of cunty. Help.

👐🏽 that’s just my truth

3 things that are sensual and not sexual:
1. BREATH, don’t forget to breathe!
2. FOCUS, where are your eyes going?
3. RESISTANCE, influences tension and texture of our movement.

This routine felt so good shout out to all my ladies who learned and slayed this one 🙌🏽. Repost, share, invite your friends allat. Sensual Choreo @luvnpole.studio every Wednesday at 6pm, all levels welcome!

Another day, another studio to explore in LA ✨

I had the pleasure of visiting Luv N Pole, a black woman owned studio in Culver City. The space is gorgeous, high ceilings, amazing acoustics… almost like the perfect space for a showcase 😏. So pull up THIS Saturday for a spooky special show. Ticket link in bio

Today’s Headstand Offering inspired me too much not to share.

Today’s theme is to dig a little deeper. No matter what you’re doing, what the goal is~ dig a little bit deeper because I know you can. And you’ll surprise yourself with the results in ways you never could’ve imagined.

So, whatever limit you’re feeling today, I encourage you to remove it. Explore it. Release it.

Let me know what outcomes find you ✨🫶🏽

Real-time warm up from today’s open pole session at @luvnpole.studio ✨

My warm ups can be divided into two parts. Standing and mat work. The mat portion always includes a combination of conditioning, floor work practice and hip openers. These are key aspects of dance performance, so I like to drill them before I begin my practice. Full length warm up on my YouTube if you wanna follow along 🎬

Less than 24 hours in LA and I squeezed all my favorite things into damn near 9 hours 😂✈️

I moved from LA to Atlanta earlier this summer, and I’m still figuring out where to shop for fabric in the A. So I stuck to what I knew and caught a flight back to the land… and baby, that trip gave me my ENTIRE LIFE! 🥹

First stop: a pole sesh at @luvnpole.studio . Just freestyling, moving my body, and doing me. I used to teach here, so this studio will always have a special place in my heart and it’s even more beautiful now! 😍

Between some pole time, fabric shopping, and the laughs and cocktails with @thetimmytwotimes , I got the little reset I needed. But when it was time to leave? I was NOT ready 😭😭😭

Atlanta babes, help ya girl out! Where are y’all shopping for fabric? Drop your favorite stores below or DM me so I don’t have to keep catching flights for new strings 😂🧵
