I bought this place in the early days of Covid, when nobody knew what next week looked like. Uninhabitable. Everyone thought I’d lost the plot.

Still the best decision I’ve ever made.

Then it caught the classic Builder’s House Syndrome — everyone else’s job comes first, your own place waits. Took a lot longer than it should have. Ask any builder about their own house and watch them change the subject.

JALBAR grew quicker than we expected and the property investment side got parked. No complaints, but this one’s been a long time coming.

Check out the before and after pics

Next up — finishing off Sarah’s house.

What was once just a storage area is now a fully usable, self-sufficient space.

This project was all about unlocking potential — taking a part of the home that wasn’t really being used and transforming it into something practical, comfortable, and built to last.

Seeing the before and after side-by-side really shows what’s possible with the right planning, craftsmanship, and attention to detail.

Renovations aren’t just about updating finishes — sometimes they’re about creating entirely new living spaces within the footprint you already have.

All stocked up and ready to roll — literally. 💥 @luxepaintingservices putting the Turbo Rollers Dacron to work, and the verdict? “Loving these ATM.”

If you haven’t tried them yet, here’s your sign 👇

Available in 8mm for smoother finishes and 18mm for larger coverage with serious efficiency.

Once you switch to Turbo… you don’t go back. 😉

Out of the high vis and into heels 👠
Such a great night at the @awic_au Awards celebrating some absolute powerhouse women in construction 🔥
I might not be from that industry, but I’ll always show up to support women across all trades, because we’re all building something amazing in our own way.
So proud to see so many women killing it! 🫶🏻🥹⚡️ #awic #womeninconstruction #electrician #tradie #apprentice
