Want a mobility video for your sport or a movement you struggle with? Tell me in the comments 👇 Your request could be my next video!

After this request from @luxeround I looked more into how the body moves during a golf swing ⛳️ So I put together these 5 mobility exercises to help you work on the movement involved!

Golf involves much more than your arms. Your hips, upper back, and ability to control movement all play a part. Here’s why I chose these 👇

1️⃣ Thread the needle — to practise upper-back rotation while keeping your hips relatively steady.

2️⃣ Lying spinal twist — to explore gentle rotation with your body supported by the floor. Don’t force your knees down.

3️⃣ Cat–cow — to practise moving your spine and pelvis through rounding and extension with control.

4️⃣ Lunge with rotation — to combine hip mobility and upper-back rotation in one movement.

5️⃣ 90/90 hip switches — to work on internal and external hip rotation, both relevant to turning through your swing.

Move slowly, breathe, and stay within a comfortable range 🤍

Save this and send it to your golf partner ⛳️

Stupid. Boring. For the prissy rich kids.

Those were my exact thoughts on golf most of my life.

Why would anyone like it? Play it? Or, God forbid…watch it? 🥴

But then…God.

“Delight yourself in the Lord, and He will give you the desires of your heart.” — Psalm 37:4

Funny thing is, the closer you get to Him, the more your desires start to look like His.

And looking back, it’s pretty obvious this was His plan all along…

Like He looked at everything He had planned for my life and thought, “Little does she know… she’s going to have to become pretty obsessed with golf for all of this to happen.”

So…jokes on me, I guess.

Now my only question is…

Lord…what’s next?

Shoutout to @rchavez82 for the edit 🙌🏼

Why do you play golf?
Every reason is good to justify the means.

🇫🇷 Pourquoi toi tu joues au golf?
Chaque raison est bonne pour justifier les moyens.
