Moments from Delicate Things Author + Artist talk event on June 24, 2025 @thefrontartecultura ✨

As I look ahead to the release of Deep Water on August 30th, I look back on the collaboration it took to get here 🌊

The reality is that without breaking ground with Delicate Things, i never would have found my way to Deep Water 🌱

Reflecting on this incredible experience @thefrontartecultura a little over a year ago reminds me of how many people have showed up to help me tell my story 💫

There’s a real magic in the making of a book, no doubt.
But something truly unique and transformative happens when you can find it within yourself to give it away— inviting others to be a part of a process so intimate and in my case, tied to my healing journey.

Thank you all for being a part of this chapter and the next! 📚

We did it 🪡✊ On February 21st, Sew Loka transformed into a space of creativity, community, and resistance — and YOU showed up in the biggest way 🧵🪡✨

Two sold-out workshops. 40+ makers. One powerful mission. Together we raised $2,000 for the ACLU @aclu_nationwide to help defend the rights of immigrants and communities who need it most 🙏💯

To everyone who came through, sewed their hearts out, embroidered in the lounge, grabbed a coffee, shared a poem, and brought the energy — THANK YOU!!! 🙌 You made Sew Rebellious everything we dreamed it would be and more ‼️

This is what happens when creativity meets cause. 💪🧵

More events like this coming soon 😍
