A big congratulations to Lehigh Valley Zoo for winning a FREE year of PassPlay at the AZA Annual Conference in Portland!

We loved connecting with their team and can't wait to see how they use PassPlay to create even more engaging experiences for their members.

Good Shepherd’s Hyland Center Pediatrics team had a great time at Lehigh Valley Zoo’s “Boo at the Zoo.”

Thanks to all who stopped by to say hello and to grab some candy! 🍫 Four individuals are standing behind a table covered with a blue cloth that reads "Good Shepherd Rehabilitation." The table displays informational pamphlets, small pumpkins, and bowls of candy. The setting appears to be outdoors with parked cars and autumn foliage in the background.

Saving a Critically Endangered species takes more than science—it takes a community.

At AZA SAFE African Penguin, the Public Engagement working group strives to educate and engage visitors, program participants, and the community in our mission to save the African Penguin. This team develops educational materials supporting awareness days and more.

We also know that people power conservation. That’s why we recently launched the African Penguin Action and Conservation Team (APACT)!

APACT is a social media-based movement building a network of everyday "penguin heroes." By joining, our followers learn about the challenges African penguins face and take meaningful action, whether that’s spreading awareness, making sustainable seafood choices, or joining us for International African Penguin Awareness Day.

Ready to help save African Penguins from extinction? Follow @SAFEAfricanPenguin to get involved!

Thank you to the @national_aviary for leading our Public Engagement work! And to @dallaszoo, @lvzoo, @littlerockzoo, @columbuszoo, @mysticaquarium, and @sfteachingzoo for helping with these important efforts.

There’s something magical about seeing the world through their eyes. ✨

Every animal becomes a discovery. Every path leads somewhere new. Every question turns into another reason to look a little closer.

Our Common Threads Expeditions are about more than where we go—they’re about giving our children a childhood filled with adventure, curiosity, friendship, and plenty of room to wonder.

And getting to experience it all alongside friends makes it even sweeter. 🤎

Common Threads families: our next Expedition is all about fire safety! 🚒 You’ll find all the details in our Facebook group + CT Events Calendar.

Not part of the Collective yet? More field trips, gatherings, and opportunities to learn together are ahead.
If this feels like the kind of homeschool community your family could call home, visit the link in our bio to learn more + request to join. 👉 @commonthreaslv
.

My mission is to always keep Agentis Plumbing fun, collaborative and top of mind, and our new interactive hopscotch at the Swan Pond at the Lehigh Valley Zoo does just that! I love dreaming up fresh, out-of-the-box ways to connect with the residents and businesses of the Lehigh Valley. I can’t wait to see families hop, skip, jump and remember to call Agentis for all their plumbing needs! Shout out to the team at the zoo for leaning into this idea and for hosting us at the zoo today 🦢🪠👩🏼‍🔧
