RAIN ☔️ OUT. 😡. Had such a great time at my 1st tournament with @nj_intensitysoftball thanks for @intensitykod letting the organization come together as a family and play up level up on Sunday with a long practice. We have a lot of work to do. Back to work and playing catch up. Request and demands are being set. Time to check off the box.

Welcome to Chapel Hill, Laurin Watts!

North Carolina has hired Laurin Watts as its new pitching coach. - Full article at heelsonfranklin.org

Watts arrives from Southern Illinois, where she helped build one of the Missouri Valley Conference’s top pitching staffs. In 2026, the Salukis finished second in the MVC with a 2.91 team ERA, including a 2.11 ERA in conference play. She also coached MVC Freshman of the Year Brooklynn Danielson and MVC Newcomer of the Year Emily Delgado.

A strong addition to the Diamond Heels softball staff.
