An Incredibly Bookish wedding 📚💖 This post is long overdue seen as we got married in February but better late than never! @lxlibris and I had the most amazing day and it made all my craft projects feel worth it, it made the day feel truly ours! I made the confetti out of an old book that couldnt be saved, painted it and punched all the shapes out. Then the guests were kindly instructed by @kickassgatherings to not read the confetti because some words out of context looked very rude 👀 Louise also got our wedding party to guess how many books we own (at the last count) and the winner was the surprise ring bearer 💍 I made the table numbers and table plan Penguin Book themed with titles of our favourite books, made library card place named that the guests could re-use as bookmarks, and felted so many little hearts for the tables. Louis and I gifted eachother books to open the morning of the wedding 🩷 I got him The Haunting of Hill House (not an omen of what's to come) and he got me Carry on Jeeves, a book I have always wanted to read. It was so special to open these before we walked down the aisle. It was such a special day, all our suppliers made it so easy and memorable ✨️ Special mention to our amazing photographers for these beautiful photos @sophieannphotography ❤️🩷 📍@thewestmill

Happy Easter Sunday Everyone! @bookstarreviews_ tagged me in a #matchyoureggstack and boy did I choose the wrong egg 😂 My mum gave me a choice of 3 eggs yesterday and I chose this one thinking what pretty colours! But I found it very hard to match because apparently I own no books that sort of lilac colour, so this is the closest I could get 🩷 The Siegfried Sassoon book was pretty much made for this egg though! Matches perfectly Books featured: The Murder at the Vicarage by Agatha Christie Before we say goodbye by Toshikazu Kawaguchi Our guest book from our wedding 😂😂 Memoirs of a Fox Hunting Man by Siegfried Sassoon Hope you all have a lovely Easter 🐣🐰 I have tagged a few people in this but no pressure at all and if you see this and want to do it to, consider yourself tagged!

Vera Usher has it all: brand deals, a penthouse in Amsterdam, and millions of followers. But one fan isn’t here for selfies… A profile called The Alchemist is flooding her feed… with photos of her murdered family. The bodies pile up. A stab of terror, but the truth cuts deepest: the killer is her own sister. She swears their bloodline is cursed. She swears she’s saving the world. Now Vera has only one choice: kill her sister - or join her in the grave. The House of Usher is falling. And Vera’s going down with it. - I had great fun putting together this bookish horror story! Thanks to @sarahslittlebookshelf_ for tagging me in it. 🩸Main character: Vera 🩸Where/When did it take place: Amsterdam 🩸Who were they running from: The Alchemist 🩸What was the plot twist: My Sister, the Serial Killer 🩸How did it end: The Fall of the House of Usher I’ve tagged a few of you to see what scary stories are hiding in your shelves, but if I missed you then consider yourself equally cursed… Don’t leave me waiting…

🩸Blood Stack🩸 Happy Saturday! The amazing @bookedmybook has tagged me in this bloody great challenge to show off books with Blood in the title! 🩸❤️ You can’t beat a bit of blood in thriller and horror books to ramp up the thrill. 😍 But most importantly, Blood is so important in healthcare and the UK Blood Stocks from donation are critically low. The NHS are seeking donors and need: -140,000 people to donate blood for the first time this year -12,000 new Black heritage donors to help with blood for sickle cell patients -more young people aged 17-35 to donate (Statistics from Give Blood https://www.blood.co.uk/why-give-blood/) Here’s my #BloodStack 🩸: 🩸Happy BLOODy Christmas* 🩸Good Girl, Bad BLOOD 🩸The BLOOD Road 🩸BLOOD Sugar 🩸BLOOD Orange *Thank you for this ARC @avonbooksuk & @netgalley I actually have less books with Blood in the title than I thought and all of these books are TBR! 😱 I have tagged a few accounts to see their Blood Stack. There is no pressure to participate! If I haven’t tagged you and you want to have a go, go for it and tag me so I can see! ❤️ I’m going to sign up to be a blood donor now. ☺️ I hope you all have a lovely weekend! 🫶 P.s. the colours were popping before insta faded them when it uploaded! 😡 #BookChallenge #Bookstagram #Bookish #BookBlogger #BooksBooksBooks #BookStack #BookStackSaturday #TBR #ILoveReading #ReadersOfInstagram
