🚨HERE WE GO! Premiere of “Novem” by @xviii_____ taken from the “This Heart of Yours” EP album of @lxviii_____ ! ‘This Heart of Yours’ arrives as a direct extension of XVIII’s language—stripped, immediate, and uncompromising in intent. Following last year’s ‘Raw Archive’ album, this seven-track EP shifts its weight firmly onto the dancefloor, prioritizing movement, pressure, and continuity over introspection. Each piece is constructed with a DJ’s sensibility at its core: tools designed not as isolated statements, but as parts of a larger, evolving sequence. Rhythms are taut and driving, loops unfold with quiet insistence, and details surface gradually—never ornamental, always functional. The energy is sustained rather than explosive, hypnotic rather than decorative. There’s a clarity in the reduction. Elements are allowed space to breathe, yet the momentum never loosens. Low-end weight anchors the tracks, while percussive layers and textural shifts keep them in constant motion. The result is a body of work that leans into repetition as a form of control—subtle variations guiding the listener deeper rather than outward. ‘This Heart of Yours’ is less about narrative and more about state: a focused, forward-moving collection shaped by the demands of the set, built for long transitions, late hours, and continuous immersion. For this mix we present ANDF. ANDF is a Gothenburg-based duo delivering dark, energetic and atmospheric sets where ambient soundscapes blend with pounding kick drums and syncopated rhythms. Usually appearing as a live act, they initially made an impression on their local scene through no-nonsense techno sets created on the fly with drum machines and samplers. During the last few years they’ve gone more experimental, broadening their influences and incorporating elements of noise, industrial and more off kilter rhythms. Their productions have been released by Arnaca Records, LXVIII and Studio Vagnhallen #technomusic #electronicmusic #göteborg #andf #duo #hypnotictechno #swedishtechno #mixtape #djset #liveset

In a society where everything is moving faster and faster, from individuals to technology, including relationships and movements, I wanted to try to accelerate too. This EP is from a series of tracks from the last two years where I wanted to try going faster, even beyond what I idealize in terms of speed. I wanted to experiment with a form of fast, non-explosive, introspective music that invites the body to adopt a particular movement, while also seeking out deep, melancholic emotions. The tracks speak of relationships, experiences, and the infinite repetition that is the human experience. Thank you to those who listened to me; I hope that the days spent designing these pieces will make you think about the pace the world imposes. Since beginnings is out on @lxviii_____ Thanks to the all team to support my vision Link in bio
