POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

There’s something so special about an artist seeing BGLB and thinking, “I made something just for her.” 🥹 From custom shoes and T-shirts to artwork and artifacts, y’all have created things that feel so me. I never take that kind of thought or talent for granted. 🖼️🫶🏾⚾️✨

I don’t even know where to begin. 🥹⚾️

A few years ago, Black Girls Love Baseball was just an idea I couldn’t stop thinking about. This week, that idea led me to one of the most unforgettable experiences of my life. 🙌🏾

Thank you @mlb for welcoming me into All-Star Week and allowing BGLB to help tell the stories that make this game so special. Covering this event as media, interviewing legends, meeting so many incredible people, and seeing this community up close is something I’ll never forget. 🤞🏾

And to every single person who follows this platform, likes a post, leaves a comment, shares my videos, bought an All-Star pin, or simply believed in this dream… thank you. None of this happens without you. 😘

This wasn’t just my All-Star experience—it was ours. Every opportunity I received felt like proof that our community belongs in baseball spaces, and I’m honored to represent you every time I pick up a microphone. ✊🏾

I’m leaving with a full heart, new friendships, unforgettable memories, and even bigger dreams for what’s next.🫶🏾

The best is still ahead. 🔮

Special thanks to @playersalliance @blackbaseballmedia @blackbaseballmixtape @mbptakeover ‼️⚾️✨

This Saturday June 15th, from 2:00-8:00 PM , join us for our Juneteenth: Celebration of Togetherness!

For those who are unfamiliar with Juneteenth, it derives from the freeing of the final slaves after the Civil War. It’s historical legacy shows the value of never giving up hope in uncertain times.

A day full of art, music, food and community perfect for the whole family!

Link in bio to learn more about the event!

“As a Black woman who was born and raised in Woodstock, GA, I am thrilled to see Woodstock Arts celebrating Juneteenth with a cultural festival this year. The festival will offer my sons a meaningful opportunity to connect with their roots, experience the beauty of our traditions, and see our history and contributions celebrated in a communal and joyous setting. It’s a powerful affirmation of our identity and an inspiring reminder of our ongoing journey toward equality and empowerment.”
