Being a Tottenham fan living in America comes with MANY major problems…

One of which: Getting away tickets.

A few months ago, my best mate Lydia and I managed to get last-minute tickets for Chelsea vs Tottenham. Absolute result. Or so I thought.

What I failed to notice was one tiny, insignificant detail…

The tickets were in the Chelsea end.

There we were, surrounded by 40,000 people passionately explaining exactly how much they hated Tottenham. Every chant seemed to involve Chelsea, Tottenham, and several words my mother would not approve of.

Meanwhile, I’m sitting there trying to look as neutral as a Swiss diplomat while internally having a full-blown panic attack.

The moment I realised where we were, my face apparently told the entire story. Watch closely. You can literally see the exact second my brain goes:

“Oh no.”

Then:

“This is bad.”

And finally:

“If Spurs score, I’m getting escorted out of West London in a wheelie bin.”

To be fair, the Chelsea fans around us were brilliant. But when you’ve spent your entire life supporting Spurs and suddenly find yourself trapped in enemy territory, every chant feels a little bit personal.

North London till I die.

Just preferably not in the Chelsea end next time. 😅⚽️

Being in nature is a healing practice 🌳

Dover-Deal walk and hike for the born day of @soraya_lee_ 🎂

But that sea was COLD - fingertips are finally back to normal 🧊
