Learning life lessons from children. I have been very humbled! I genuinely look forward to Saturdays for so many reasons, including the fact that we get to visit the children at their homes.

Thought to share some of the ways the children we work with @lyf_nigeria are helping my own life, in order to help your own too. Let me know if you want a part 2☺️.

Every child deserves a chance to dream and the skills to make those dreams real.

At Light Years Foundation, children in orphanage homes are not just cared for, they are equipped with skills that prepare them for a brighter future.

From creativity, to problem-solving, digital awareness, and everyday life skills, we’re nurturing confidence, resilience, and hope in every child’s journey.

Because their background should not limit their future.

Thanks to @edustipend for this opportunity to reach these children.

This is the second phase of this project and these children requested for craft skills and baking. We had the craft session which is the Crocheting class. While we teach this skill, we also teach resilience, patience, listening skills, collaboration which are needed for the future of work.
