overwhelmed by your adhd? this one’s for you 💜

@rupan.naraini and @lyn.stevens asked for intuition and focus — and i think we all need that right now. so i paired @aromagsbotanica ‘s clearing & unblocking incense powder with 凝 (níng) — gathering the scattered mind into spiritual focus, cognitive stillness, and intuitive concentration.

send this to someone whose mind won’t quiet down 🤍

📌 save this for your next ritual night

🦋 New Papillon Exhibit Coming Soon 🦋
STORIES IN BLUE: A @bluehousecreativesnashville Group Show
Sept 22 to Oct. 25, 2026

SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 26, 2026
Artist lounge: 3-4 p.m.
Opening reception: 4-6 p.m.

🔹 Blue is a color of endless stories. It is the calm of open skies and still waters, the depth of memory, the weight of longing, and the quiet promise of hope. In Stories In Blue, artists from the Nashville collective Blue House Creatives explore the many emotions and meanings this color holds.

The exhibition, on display in the MACC’s Papillon Gallery, celebrates the strength of creative community. Artists from different disciplines come together, each bringing a unique perspective while contributing to a shared story. Through diverse approaches and experiences, the exhibition reveals how a single color can express countless emotions. Whether blue represents serenity, resilience, melancholy, or wonder, every artwork reminds us that our stories become richer when shared. The artists invite you to slow down, immerse yourself in blue, and discover the emotions that resonate with your own.

Blue House Creatives is an artist collective dedicated to fostering creative community and expanding exhibition opportunities for local artists. Founded by Nashville artist Nadine Shillingford, the collective includes artists working across a wide range of disciplines, including painting, collage, photography, sculpture, pottery, and more. Members actively contribute to Nashville’s arts scene by teaching workshops, presenting solo and group exhibitions, and collaborating with local galleries and businesses.

Blue House Collective members include: Beth Barnard, Julia Tong, Beverly Patterson, Ashley Mintz, Jackie Lewis, Mark Schlicher, Pegah Kadivar, Mariah Leggett, Martha Morales Purucker, LeAndra Crystal, Shayla Holt, Amy Krimsier Sterling, Lyn Stevens, Leroy Hodges, Jr., Barbara Hodges, Roberta Bell, Tricia Townes, Victoria Rivera and Nadine Shillingford.

Save the date and make it a day at The MACC for Stories in Blue. 🦋

It’s almost time for the @bluehousecreativesnashville Pink Show!!! Yesterday, we draped the walls of the small gallery at @mmstudio_nashville with pink material after our monthly BHC meetup. The gallery already looks great and we can’t wait to see it when all the pink art is on display! This Pink Show is going to be fantastic!

The Pink Show is a one night pop up at M & M Studio (1161 Murfreesboro Pike Suite 460) on Sunday 7/5 6-9pm. It’s a birthday celebration for Julia @pinkjulietart. We love you Julia 💕!!! It will feature a pink art exhibition, a live violin mini concert by Julia, fun activities, food and drinks. Our in-house photographer @mmm_photography1 will be available in his studio for photo sessions. RSVPs needed. DM for further info or contact @pinkjulietart.

Photos and videos by @lyn.stevens and @pyrography_artist_jackie_lewis.

Another successful @bluehousecreativesnashville exhibit! This new exhibit is at @crafty_boba (265 White Bridge Pike #101) - a beautiful little boba shop with a great space for artsy events. The owner Juan was happy to welcome BHC as the first group show (his previous shows have been solo artists). We enjoyed different flavors of boba and colored and laughed and posed for pictures with the exhibit. The kids had fun playing with the collection of games and drawing on the chalk wall. Stop by @crafty_boba to see our exhibit and buy the art. We will make a separate post where you can see the art properly. All art is $100 or less. Purchases support our artists and the Crafty Boba small business.

As @potterpainterpicturemaker said yesterday “I love us!” This is the sentiment that founder, @charcoalattebynadine dreamed of for Blue House Creatives Nashville and so much more! Let’s keep making art friends!
