There are too many moments to remember and be grateful for to even begin to touch the surface in a social media post, but it’s Lyn‘s birthday today and I wanted to wish the best and most soulful and deep feeling wife of mine a very happy and joyful birthday and to come and to put it on the record and out into the world for a new amazing year ahead and life together. Thank you, for everything you do for us and the care you do it with. I love you and we love you.

A little bookstore refresh! ✨📚🏺

We’re so excited to now share space with our wonderful neighbors at @newyorkstoneware. We’ve moved our coffee table books, cookbooks, and gift books next door—and honestly...they look like they were always meant to be surrounded by beautiful pottery.

The extra room has also allowed us to create a few fun new displays, including:
📖 Fran’s favorite fiction of the 21st century
📚 More space for bestselling paperbacks
🤏 A shelf dedicated to books under 200 pages (proof that great books don’t have to be long!)

And maybe best of all, we’ll have a little more room when we host author events and other gatherings. ❤️

Come wander through both spaces the next time you visit—we can’t wait to show you around!

Such a magical evening at the Fern Hill Community Dinner last night, hosted at the beautiful @bedfordbooks_ and @newyorkstoneware When we first decided on a vegan meal I was a little nervous, as that's not my usual "go-to". But was so happily surprised with how delicious the meal turned out, and how it was fun to push myself to think outside my comfort zone. So many bright and bold flavors in each dish. I loved playing around with all the herbs and spices. I think one of my favorite was the curry coconut squash soup in the book "my regenerative kitchen" by @camilla.marcus which I will definitely be making again and again. I also need to find another occasion to make that crudités tower asap!
