JUNETEETH PowerShoot Soul Train R E V i V A L 📸🧶 CROCHET: I’m excited to share the creative direction for my collection and how it aligns with both my brand and the energy of the show. For this presentation, I will be designing a collection titled “Soul Train Revival” under my brand, Haus of Remi. This concept draws inspiration from the iconic Soul Train era, beginning in the 1970s and evolving through the early 2000s. Rather than focusing on a single moment in time, this collection is a revival capturing the progression, influence, and enduring cultural impact of Black fashion, music, and movement across decades. The collection will reinterpret this evolution through luxury crochet and handcrafted textile design, which is the foundation of Haus of Remi. Each piece will blend vintage silhouettes and textures with modern structure and styling, creating a bridge between past and present. You can expect: Rich textures and intricate crochet work that reflect both craftsmanship and heritage Silhouettes inspired by 70s disco glam, 80s bold expression, and early 2000s sleekness A celebration of individuality, rhythm, and confidence, mirroring the spirit of the Soul Train line This collection is ultimately about revival, transformation, and cultural continuity, expressed through elevated, wearable art.

Pressure applied by asking first. The worst they can say is no… but the best? That’s on the other side of asking.
