Last Friday was the opening for the new exhibition Plucking the Broom. A show that invites you to look again at the figure of the witch. Not a character from a fairy tale, but people who fell outside the norm and who, despite everything, continued to care, share, make and dream.

Greeted with the special opening words by curators @sarahnuiver and @emmavangoor, and the opening initiated with the powerful ritual by Avery Oldershaw @witchlantern, it was an evening of reclamation, connection and great banter.

Thank you for stopping by @nolimitsartcastle and special thanks to all the artists that are currently featured in the Plucking the Broom exhibition. @mugeyilma, @venusjasper.earth, @shanileseman, @ginevraarvenig, @cocosannehassink, @l.mada.l, @noazuidervaart, @shannamariacasey, @qiao_chu_guo, @rowanmoonlion, @anoukvanwijk, @krijnkroes, @b1elszcz00r, @hannahvanderheide, and artists Kitty van Straaten, Jessica Magnin, Donne Dijkhorst, René van Breene & Lewis Parrington-Stack represented by @wijdedoelen.

Another two days of broadcasting from the HQ. 🔮

Thursday moves through experimental, bouncy and hypnotic sounds before heading into folk-rooted dub textures, bass-heavy combinations and a live closing set. Different approaches gradually meet and overlap as the evening unfolds.

Friday shifts gears again. Vinyl, loose genre boundaries, off-kilter rhythms and heavier percussion all find their way into the stream, moving from playful selections into more physical territory as the night unfolds.

Two evenings.
Two different journeys.
One HQ.

The bar is open.
The stream is live.

Come hang around, grab a drink and see where things land.

See you at the HQ. 🔮🖤

It’s almost showtime.. see you on the dancefloor baddies! 🫦🫵🏼🥵

We’ve curated programming with a strong focus on FLINTA and queer artists & DJs.

Remember: Pride is a protest! It has been ever since 1969. It started as a fight for liberation, and that fight is far from over. Pride is about celebrating our community, but also about standing up against discrimination, exclusion, and injustice.

Everyone deserves to feel free, safe, and seen, not just during Pride, but every single day of the year. Keep showing up, keep speaking out, and keep making space for one another.

*our programming starts 20:30 on Thursday the 30th
*we continue until 03:00 on Friday the 31st
