Season 10, you’ll always have a special place in my heart!! 🩷

What an incredible season it has been! I still can’t believe my first official year as a competition team teacher has come to an end, but i couldn’t be prouder of the year we’ve had!!

None of this would have been possible without the second home Jeni and Lucy have created here at Studio 65. We are so much more than a dance studio— we are a family, and I feel so incredibly lucky to teach here every single day. 🫶🏻

16 years ago I stepped into my first dance studio without knowing what was too come. I simply can’t bring myself to believe that my time as a competition studio dancer has come to an end. I have gained so much knowledge, opportunity, and memories to last me a lifetime.

This last season was unlike any other. Less than 5 months ago I couldn’t walk without help let alone dance. I went though one of the hardest things i’ve ever faced. There were moments when I questioned if i’d ever return to the level I was at. For a while it felt like everything I had worked so hard for was slipping away right in front of me. I went through setbacks and many mental hardships coming back to dance wondering if I should even continue my journey or just call a quits. The recovery tested me physically and mentally, teaching me patience, perseverance, and what it truly means to fight for something you love.

Stepping back into dance after everything I had been through made every performance more meaningful. Finishing out my last season wasn’t just about dancing or winning, it was about proving to myself that setbacks don’t define the end of a story. I learned to rebuild my confidence, trust my body again, and remember that I still belonged on the stage. Every moment I chose not to give up became part of my comeback that I am more proud of than any award I’ve ever won.

But through everything I wouldn’t be where I am today if it wasn’t for all the people who supported and pushed me. I know if I didn’t have the support system I do, I wouldn’t be back dancing. To my family, thank you for carrying me on the days when I couldn’t do it alone. To my teachers and coaches, thank you for always believing in me when I didn’t believe in myself. To my teammates, thank you for always reminding me that I was never fighting my battle alone. Everyone’s love, patience, encouragement, and endless support gave me the strength to keep going even when giving up felt easier.

Although this chapter is ending, the memories, friendships, and lessons I have gained will stay with me forever. Thank you to @studio65dance for helping me finish my studio journey stronger than I could’ve ever imagined.

Who else knows this feeling?? 🥹

Watching your child set a goal, put in the work, stay committed…and then that moment finally comes. She made the team!! ✨✨✨

There’s just nothing like it 🤍

11 years ago, I stepped onto the competition stage for the first time, not knowing how much it would change my life. Today, I took that stage one last time with my 65 family. A group and a studio that will forever hold a special place in my heart.
To my incredible teachers, thank you for constantly pushing, encouraging and believing in me even when I didn’t believe in myself. To my teammates, thank you for standing by me through early mornings, late nights, laughter, tears, good times and bad. I wouldn’t trade those long hours for anything.
And to the best dance parents ever, thank you for being my biggest cheerleaders, always showing up with love and support through every part of this journey.
This sport has taught me lessons I’ll carry for a lifetime. I will forever remember the practices where my feet bled and legs gave out, but we were all in it together having fun and doing what we love!
Thank you 65 fam!❤️🖤

The past 17 years, I have poured everything into dance; however, I feel that nothing will top my senior season. From portraying Barbie to a creepy clown, this year has definitely been my favorite, getting to be apart of so many amazing dances. Dance has truly made me the person I am, and if it weren’t for the fantastic teachers that have helped me along the way, I wouldn’t be where I am today, so thank you. ❤️

To my teachers at @studio65dance

Thank you for always pushing me to be the best version of myself. I have learned so much from each and every one of you, and I am forever grateful for the relationships and bonds that I have formed with you all. I am overwhelmed with appreciation for the incredible impact you all have had on my life as a dancer and as a person. The dedication you guys have for the students is nothing short of inspiring. From work ethic to drive, you’re seriously the dream team.
From the countless hours spent perfecting our routines to the unwavering support you provide, your commitment to our growth is evident in everything you do. Each class, each rehearsal, and each piece of feedback has contributed to my personal development not only as a dancer but also as an individual. You have pushed me to strive for excellence, taught me the value of perseverance, and instilled in me a profound love for the art of dance. I love you all so very much, and each of you holds a special place in my heart, and I am looking forward to the future. 👀 THANK YOU! ❤️❤️❤️

To my family

Thank you for the constant support, overwhelming encouragement, and love throughout my dance career. I know it wasn’t always easy putting in the kind of time we did or that kind of money, so thank you all for that. From quick changes, comp makeup, costumes, comp fees, choreography, rehearsals, and overnight stays in hotels, I am very thankful for the sacrifices you all made for me to pursue what I love most. ❤️❤️❤️
