Two years ago I despised the thought of myself running for fun...fast forward to today....I still do lol but have two marathons to show for it.

Chicago Marathon was a race I signed up for on a whim because everyone was signing up for it so why not!?

I fully embraced the challenge and completed my first world major marathon!

Thank you to my love ❤️ @adoseof_asiax , friends and family for the support. This wouldn't have been possible without you all!

Let’s go ChiMarathon! I’m excited for this experience provided by @atlantarunclub . I’m looking more forward to the finish because 26.2 miles ain’t light work. Thanks to all the peps who have called & messaged me encouraging words.

Please pray for my body to well and get me through this race. 🙏🏽❤️

Another race in the books 📚 They said Atlanta hills are nothing to play with and they were NOT lying!

Anyways, there’s just something special about running surrounded by so much Black culture, community, music, and energy. I love being in spaces where the culture is felt, celebrated, and ours. ❤️🖤💚

Whose streets am I running on next? 👀

Happy #MedalMonday !! THE RACE means so much to me and I’m still feeling all the joy && community vibes days after the race ended. I have not run 13.1 miles in 9 years but on October 3, 2026; I ran 13.1 miles in a time of 2 hours and 26 minutes. As always, thank you for all the cheers, support, and check ins during training and race day. My loved ones and my run club families are top tier!

💫Shoutout to my ancestors who are always leading me; I LOVE YOU!

🎊🎊The Registration for @therace_uc 2027 opens on Black Friday Nov 27 2027 and we will be celebrating TEN YEARS. Make sure you, your friends and everyone you share miles with doesn’t miss this party.

September was everything I thought August would be. The Welfare Queen’s pre-production is in full swing, and I spent time with some amazing people. Let me tell you, I was tired in September but energized at the same time. Funny, I went from testing out how I would act if I was just 20% more confident to appreciating the confidence I’ve always displayed but never noticed. Here’s to the end of Summer and the beginning of Fall. Whatever may come, I wish it — and you — a big hug. 🫂 🍁
