Photographer 🤝 fishing 🎣

This was such a fun shoot with @lyssaslens ! Lyssa is not only a talented photographer, but one of the kindest people to work with. She has such a natural way of navigating a photo session — making you feel comfortable, giving great direction, and somehow always knowing how to capture the moment just right.

A few years ago, Lyssa helped me learn more about the photography world and encouraged me to start this photo-loving journey of my own.

“The start of a new decade- end of an era” couldn’t have came for me at a more perfect and pretty ironic time in my life. To say I’m elated to close this chapter of my life is an understatement, but how good does that really feel to say? Time is precious, living is a gift and to learn and grow is the whole purpose right?
Looking back in my 20’s I initially saw a lot of unfortunate events. My divorce, the death of my father, death of my grandmas, health issues, so much emotional trauma and things out of my control. My life today isn’t what I imagined, I had so many plans and a vision of what my future looked like.
On the other hand- holy shit I LIVED BABY!!
I know I experienced my 20’s exactly how I was supposed to. So many memories, wild regrettable decisions but fun ones at that haha. My friends!! My family!! Traveling, buying my two homes, all the festivals, starting my lash business that’s been keeping me fully booked for years- like wow!!!
I am SO proud of myself. I am so strong and resilient. I have friends who have saved me and picked me up in the depths of it all. I’m so loved and looked after by whatever higher power that’s out there (& my dad who has helped guide me) 🤍
The lessons and experiences made me who I am today and goddamnit I’m so thankful for that! I’m free and choosing myself now, respectfully 💋

It’s hard to believe we’re almost here. 🤍

These are the last maternity pictures we’ll ever take, the last time we’ll count down the days until we meet one of our babies, and the last chapter before our family is complete.

As excited as I am to hold our sweet girl, there’s a part of me that’s soaking in every little moment because I know we’ll never get this season back.

Jared, thank you for building this life with me. We started with just the two of us, and now we’re about to become a family of six. Watching you be a husband and dad has been one of the greatest blessings of my life, and I couldn’t imagine doing any of this with anyone else.

Sweet girl, we’ll be ready whenever you are. Our hearts and our family are ready for you. 🤍

Hi everyone! I wanted to reintroduce myself and make an exciting announcement.

I’m Zita Chapman 🤍 I’m graduating cosmetology school very soon and I’m so excited to start my career at STUDIO BLOOM in April!! This journey has been such a blessing and I’m so thankful. Thank you Jesus for opening these doors.
