Celebrating 2 years in LA! 📸: @lyssawalks

I came here thinking I knew exactly what this chapter would require of me. Yeaaa, that’s not 100% the case.

These two years have stretched me, humbled me, disciplined me, and revealed parts of myself that needed more structure, more grace, and more growth. I’ve experienced some of my greatest blessings here while quietly walking through some of my hardest battles.

I’ve had to overcome the thoughts of thinking where I should be is where I’m supposed to be in this season. Comparing yourself to anything is a disease 🦠 and I’ve had to stray away from it living out here! Just stay in my lane and do what I can.

There’s a lot I’ll share when the time is right. But today, I’m simply grateful that through everything that changed around me, within me…I’m still here baby! I’m Still dancing. Still building. Still becoming!

Word to self:

“Proud of you, Alyssa. There’s room for you at the top😌just keep putting in the work, beautiful. And never forget: you are loved, and you will experience love again. Until then, keep loving yourself deeply. Keep pouring into the little girl who dreamed of dancing behind Beyoncé one day. She’s still in there, and you’re getting her closer and closer to that dream. You got this. Never an option to give-up”
