Weeks 6-7 - ✅. Quick ✈️ to see one of the OGs get married 🥹. Wouldn’t have missed it for the world. Crazy to believe Sarah, Dani, Bri, and I all started at UTC NINE, yep NINE, years ago. Could not be more proud of the women these three have become - thanks for letting me be a part of the ride 🫶.

Weeks 3-5 - ✅. New relationships forming - ✅.

A letter from a professor to current and future college students:

The goal of college is not just to get the degree. It’s not even to just get into grad school or get the job. The goal of college should also include becoming a better human.

The first two pics are from a group of students that chose to volunteer on a Saturday at the Y’s Miracle League. I am always watching students at these types of events because often necessary convos have to occur (“hey, you need to get off your phone” or “hey, you need to up your enthusiasm”). But today none of those conversations occurred because this group served and they served well. Not all extroverts mind you, but each was engaged and interacting with athletes through cheering, high fives, and assisting. Show me college students that serve well and I’ll show you tomorrow’s leaders.

Current and future students, these are the types of students that faculty will do everything in our power to help.
