One year ago, I came to a School of Rock show at The Strand Theatre to watch my brothers and sister. It was at that show I decided I wanted to try singing. I couldn’t have imagined the journey that lay ahead of meet. It’s funny that my road with School of Rock ends in the same place I decided to start it.

In my short time with School of Rock, I have been shown so much. I have been shown that you are more capable than you think you are. I have been shown that friends are supposed to push you to be better and encourage you. I have learned that with hard work, you can reach your goals, even when told you can’t. I am so grateful for all of the teachers, instructors, bandmates, friends, and music I have come to know through this program. I am thankful for my year in this program, my different seasons, and my run with house band. I am truly blessed beyond measure. Thank you to everyone who has stuck with me through this journey, and gotten me to where I am today.

In exactly two weeks, I move to Nashville to start attending one of the best music schools in the Nation. My gratitude is beyond words. Thank you.
