hazel was my first baby and truly was the reason i got through my early 20's. the relationship we have is something so special and unique. i put the most time into training her vs the boys, so she knows how to speak with buttons and do other cute things. at some point, our anxious energy started to affect each other so while i love her with my whole heart, she is definitely a daddy's girl 🥹

the stars of the show: björn 🩵
•
codename: bubba, bubs, bijourno, bubba gump
•

- super loveable and floofy

•
björn is our 2nd baby and he recently went through something very traumatic. what we thought was a stomach ache quickly turned into a crisis state. after taking him to the vet, he was diagnosed with something called addison's disease, which inhibits the adrenal glands ability to regulate cortisol levels in the body. the emergency vet dr. alvarado (an angel on earth) worked diligently on him through a course of 3.5 days and repeatedly said it's a miracle he is alive today. our medical bills were upwards of $4000 and he now requires lifelong medications and treatments to manage this condition, but we are grateful for the knowledge and care we received while here. an enormous thank you to @vcabakersfield for a team of wonderful people who do so much good for our community and probably do not get the recognition they deserve. we thank God everyday we get the priviledge to love björn for another day 💜

we got evie and draco at the same time! we bit off more than we could chew but only temporarily. getting to see their relationship grow through their teenage years still brings tears to my eyes. they still love each other, but draco really has no idea how big he is now 😂
