New blog post!

A year on from winning the very first Cultural Enterprises Seeds of Change prize fund, our friends at @fruitmarketgallery are still going strong with their brilliant Future Makers programme!

To celebrate the milestone, the gallery opened its doors and shop floor for a special weekend marking a whole year of creativity, experimentation and local collaboration ✨

Our Creative Development Manager @fiona_heather joined @allison.g.everett and the amazing Fruitmarket team to take part in the festivities and shares her highlights from this inspiring, innovative project we’re so proud to have supported 🌿

Swipe to discover just some of the work the talented makers produced and head to our blog to discover the story in full!

’Tis the season to #ShopLocal and, as ever, it’s the perfect opportunity to support independent makers and businesses in whatever way we’re able to. 🎁 ❤️

Just in time for Dundee’s festive markets, we’ve gathered together some local makers to share their products and who they think would love to receive them as a gift. We’ve also asked each maker to ‘pass the mic’ and give a recommendation or two for other makers to shop with, helping to spread the love!

Swipe for a peek at what @freyaallanart, @_holysnakes, @gennadelaneyjewellery, @m_elankolia, @erintosh.illo, @kerriealdo, @kippleandpelf, @lyndseycurrietextiles, & @christinavernon_ recommend and head to the link in our bio to read more! Had such a blast at the DCA crafted market! It was our first market so didn’t quite know what to expect, but I was honestly so blown away by your support! Can’t thank you enough for coming by and having a wee chat with me and browse my work! It wasn’t completely what I wanted to put forward but hey at least I got some stuff on the table 😉 also couldn’t have done this without the support of my studio mate @m_elankolia! Her work is amazing and it’s been so nice seeing her progress in making her moulds and beautiful creations ❤️
