Fall 2025- the season we got engaged at the finish line of our first @ironmantri - celebrated with some of our beloved friends and family - took lots of day and weekend trips - saw some special people in our life get married - did more races (including the @armytenmiler with my momma!) and enjoyed the holiday season in sweet Wilmington. I’d say it was a season for the books 🥹❤️🫶🏼

Last week, after months of training side by side, Collin and I crossed the finish line of our first Half Ironman. What I didn’t know was that he, along with our amazing friends and family, had been planning the most special and unforgettable engagement I could have ever imagined.

For months, Collin encouraged me to push my limits with this training, especially in the things I wasn’t confident in (aka swimming and cycling). I leaned on him, trusted him, and together we built so many memories along the way, from late-night pool workouts to hauling our bikes around the country and exploring new places. We trained through the sweltering NC heat and crossed the finish line hand in hand. I can’t think of a better metaphor for marriage, showing up for each other through the good and the hard, supporting one another no matter what, and always finding joy in moments shared together.

One of my favorite things about our relationship is how much we love our people. So many of them came together to make this day unforgettable, from planning every detail and somehow keeping it all a secret (crazy work) to flying across the country, getting us dressed up after a long day of racing for photos around Wilmington, and spending the night laughing, singing karaoke, and celebrating together. I love you all so much and could never fit all my gratitude into one post. 🥹❤️

Collin, I can’t wait to spend forever with you; my partner, my best friend, my person. ❤️ I could not imagine it any other way. I love you.

(P.S. For everyone wondering… no, Collin did not carry the ring the whole race. Our family held onto it. 😂)
