Dear Baseball, you were my first true love. Ever since I first picked up that ball and glove we were inseparable, you were where I went when I had nowhere else to go. You gave me so many lifelong friends, memories, and lessons. You taught me that failure is okay and that it is natural, you taught me how to accept defeat, and most importantly that hard work and dedication will always get you to where you want to be. You showed me that you don’t have to be the best at one single thing to be an asset in anything you do. And finally, you showed me that hard work will always get you somewhere. Baseball, you will forever hold a special place in my heart❤️
