Excited to officially welcome Mike McCarthy as our High School Director!

Mike will play a huge role in making sure our high school athletes have everything they need to compete at the highest level—from NCAA eligibility and academic qualifications to preparing for the next step in their basketball journey.

Beyond that, Mike has already become a major recruiter for our program, helping identify and connect talented student-athletes with the right opportunities. As a two-time varsity head coach, he brings a wealth of experience, leadership, and passion to our staff.

We’re excited about what Mike will bring to NSSA, and this is only the beginning. The future is bright—let’s get to work! 🏀

Despite a tough loss to Uptown Basketball, NSSA MHC 15U showed plenty to like throughout the weekend at the MADE Hoops Summer Finale in Baltimore.

This group plays with confidence and shares the ball well. They have multiple guys who can create offense, knock down perimeter shots, and make the extra pass. Even in a loss, they competed until the final whistle and showed they have the talent to make noise moving forward.

Keep an eye on this squad.

NSSA MHC 16U survived a thriller on Day 3 of the MADE Hoops Summer Live Finale in Baltimore, edging Sideline Cancer Ballers Purple 69-68.

This squad stayed composed when it mattered most. They moved the ball well, attacked downhill with confidence, and got timely buckets throughout the game. Even with the pressure of a one-point game, they never panicked and found a way to close it out.

A gritty win that keeps their weekend rolling.

After taking a tough loss to Team Spartans on Day 1, NSSA Yentin 15U bounced back in a big way on Day 2 with a dominant 78-42 win over Hoops Village at the MADE Hoops Summer Finale in Baltimore.

This group responded the right way. They shared the ball, defended with energy, and played unselfish basketball from start to finish. Their ability to attack the paint while also knocking down perimeter shots made them tough to guard all game long.

A great bounce-back performance that showed this team’s resilience.

🚨 WELCOME TO TEAM NSSA 🚨

Please help us welcome Geo Brito to the Team NSSA family!

The 6’0” point guard out of Chelsea is coming off a huge junior season where he averaged:

🏀 22.0 PPG
💪 6.0 RPG
🎯 4.0 APG
⚡ 2.0 SPG

Geo recently turned heads with a standout performance at NERR, showing why he’s becoming one of the area’s rising college prospects. His ability to score at all three levels, make plays for others, and compete on both ends makes him a player to watch.

The future is bright, and we’re excited to be part of the journey.

Welcome to the family, Geo! 💙🏀
